Welcome to Rush City
The website is open. The city opens soon.
City Rush is a top-down open-city crime action game for Android and iOS: the classic bird’s-eye view, a living city at golden hour, cars that drift and crunch, and police who actually get out of the car to arrest you.
Underneath the chaos there is a story — eight chapters about Alex, his friend Anton’s coffee kiosk and how far a favour can take you. The good people survive. The rest should have been nicer.
We’ll post progress here: new districts, the port and its boats, the radio, the trailer. Leave your email on the home page and we’ll tell you the minute the city opens.

Mayor Pomp opens Fountain Square fountain for the third time
“Each opening is more historic than the last,” says the mayor, holding the same scissors.
Mayor Bradley Pomp yesterday cut a ribbon on the Fountain Square fountain, which was already open, which he had also opened in spring, and before that last winter, when it was frozen.
Asked why the ceremony needed repeating, the mayor explained that “water is renewable, and so is gratitude”. The fountain declined to comment.
The council confirmed the event cost slightly less than the fountain itself. Plans for a statue of the mayor made of recycled parking tickets remain “under review”.

Wave Mall opening delayed until “when it opens”
Developers promise eight floors of things you don’t need and one escalator that only goes up.
The long-awaited Wave Mall on Willow Square will open “when it opens”, according to a sign on the construction fence, which has said so for some time.
Local traders say the site has produced two cranes, a car park run by a man called Pat, and a remarkable amount of optimism.
A spokesperson for Vera & Partners said the project is “on schedule, emotionally”.
